To preserve your sterling silver/gold jewellery, avoid exposure to any household cleaning products and select your jewellery to wear after applying perfume or hairspray to avoid contact with any chemicals.
Do not swim or shower with your jewellery on and avoid long periods of sun exposure, salt water or beach sand.
Store your jewellery pieces, at the end of each day, in it's Penlea pouch for safekeeping.
Apply a small amount of jewellery cleaner on a soft cloth and gently rub the silver with the cloth.
Rinse the silver thoroughly in warm water.
Blot dry and shine your silver with a polishing cloth to remove the tarnish and restore the shine!
An oxidised finish is the deliberate blackening of crevices in the ornamentation of silver to make it's decorative details stand out more.
This finish can be removed from overzealous cleaning and polishing, so it is recommended to take care when cleaning your silver jewellery pieces.
